Peach and Mint Iced Tea

Ingredients
FOR THE PEACH SYRUP:
3
Peaches (washed & diced
1 cup
Water
1 cup
Granulated sugar
FOR THE TEA:
4 cups
Water
2 family-sized
Tea bags
6 cups
Ice cubes
Fresh mint
Step by Step Instructions
- Place the peaches, 1 cup of water, and sugar into a pot and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes. Mash the peaches, then sieve them through a wire mesh strainer. Set aside.
- Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil and pour it over the tea bags in a heat-proof pitcher. Brew for 3 to 5 minutes, then remove the bags.
- Stir in the peach syrup and the ice until the ice has melted.
- Put the mint leaves into a glass, pour in the tea, and enjoy!
